Cheesy Pempek with Strawberry Cuko Sauce

Cheesy Pempek with Strawberry Cuko Sauce

Ingredients:

Pempek Dough:

-  60 gr Goldenfil Cheese Spread

-  100 gr all-purpose flour

-  150 gr tapioca flour

-  1 tsp fish sauce

-  2 eggs

-  1 tsp salt

-  100 ml water

BAHAN KUAH CUKO:

-  35 gr Goldenfil Strawberry

-  1 tsp chili powder

-  1 tsp garlic (minced)

-  1 tsp salt

-  ½ tsp palm sugar

-  ¼ tsp fish sauce

-  200 ml water

Instructions:

1.  For the Pempek Dough. Boil water until it reaches a rolling boil, then mix all-purpose flour, garlic, salt, and fish sauce in a bowl.


2.  Pour the boiling water into the flour mixture. Knead until smooth, then add the eggs. Gradually add tapioca flour while stirring gently.


3.  Prepare Goldenfil Cheese Spread in a piping bag and cut the tip of the bag.


4.  Shape the pempek dough into an oval. Create an indentation in the middle, then fill it with Goldenfil Cheese Spread.


5.  Boil the filled dough until it floats, indicating it is cooked.


6.  Next for the Strawberry Cuko Sauce. Boil water with Goldenfil Strawberry, garlic, fish sauce, salt, palm sugar, and chili powder until it boils and slightly reduces.


7.  Once slightly cooled, add vinegar if desired.


8.  Fry the boiled pempek dough until golden brown. Cut into pieces, then drizzle with the strawberry cuko sauce and its ready to be served.
